《青春斗Breakout!》is a combination of 3 short plays in both Mandarin and English revolving around the lives of the teenagers of today.

thanks aaron for the heart-warming post (: i think traditions that never change such as yltc, atlantis, bikehike, maf serve as timely reminders to us of the many carefree and stress-bound moments we've braved through together. this friendship that has withstood the tears, sweat and blood of numerous mroc sessions has not come by easy, and we should try our best to keep it going. 1% luck and 99% effort, it works the same for friendship (:
haha anw my brother just dug out his yltc '93 SHAWNEE cap. the 'S' has peeled off and the 'A' is barely clinging on, but his face still lights up everytime he mentions oac. i think that is something we ought to keep in mind. even if our caps and scarves cannot withstand the weathering of time, the oac spirit can still be kept alive.
i just had a stupid idea that maybe we can pretend to be strangers and get to know each other all over again. haha. tt would be quite interesting. (:

HEY ALL! Since the SAF's so much part of us guys lives alr, I'll make a conscious effort not to talk about it!
Well, some must have been wondering what activities have gone by the OAC calender recently, so i'll try to write what I know about the happenings in HCOAC here! Hopefully it'd rekindle some nostalgia and memories of so much that have gone by!

Some info about the grand jnr batch (34th oac)
Name: Whoa ---- Dont know how they came up with that name, but hopefully it really encapsulates the zest they have towards oac!
Size: 26, downsized from about 38.
Enthusiasm: High (so far)
DIversity: High ---- few ppl from APOLLO! but the CI, zhenrui told the few of us that visited Atlantis that their batch consists of MANY muggers. Well... that may be a good thing, but they'd better know more than just textbk knowledge!

CIs: Both guys
Teachers-in-charge: Mr Lock's retiring real soon, and with his retirement goes his vast experience in leading OAC! Well.. the grand jnrs are gonna have a much harder time initiating activities now that Mr Lock's 'clouts' gone with him.
For this year, council and OAC's mutually exclusive, so I guess the batch would probably be a much more committed one. From the looks of it, I guess we can expect big things from then! LEts all try to be enthu grand seniors and support their activities in whatever way we can. Hopefully they'd get to know us better too!

Atlantis was just concluded last sat (3May), and it was really interesting to watch teams of HC ppl rushing around frantically getting to know the roads of s'pore better! The end point (Esplanade) was beautiful, scenic but not grand. There wasn't even an Atlantis banner around! Still rmb we were so proud of our own Atlantis banner, small it may be!
But on the whole I felt that Atlantis atmosphere was present. Maybe it was the challenge, the rush, maybe it was the all familiar route, but most ultimately it must be the quality time spent with part of the batch!

Next up's bikehike! It's gonna be on 32st may. I guess their Bikeike wouldnt be as special as when we organised it. I mean putting in so much effort for our last activity certainly meant something when it all ended. BUT, it'd be really fun and exciting to be spending a night together again. Maybe we could all go house visiting! Like last time when we crashed wenhui's house and taught her biking. Does she even rmb biking now?
Yes I also agree with hj that its already so difficult to contact each other though we're all working on the same land. Whats gonna happen when everyone's much further apart? When everyone gets to uni in 2 years time or less, we would then establish new networks of friends. Hopefully, amidst all the excitement of making new friends we don't forget the old!

Emos aside, life's really like a flowing stream, and we dont thread the same water twice. OCS, SISPEC, UNIT, TUITIONS, ADMIN JOBS, OFFICE DESK JOBS whatever, we're all leading pretty cool lives ourselves! Each has a story to tell, and interesting stories they must be!
>-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------<SO, i propose a really nice gathering at a function room, somewhere in which we can sit down, chat and just plain soak in the atmosphere that was characteristic of our JC lives! It's still on the drawing board, but i really hope everyone would give me their MOST ENTHUSIASTIC and POSITIVE replies! We have much catching up, and reminiscing to do!
Next up, do u think we can travel the world together?
